Know the Weft-beating Movement

    The movement that smoothly and accurately pushes the weft inside the weaving mouth is called the weft beating movement (jamming).

I. Weft-beating mechanism

Components: crankshaft, crank connecting rod (drawbar), reed seat (including reed seat foot, reed cap, walking sword plate, reed seat base plate, reed lower shaft), supporting angle steel, crankshaft inner bearing frame, crankshaft bearing seat (left and right), steel reed.

Ⅱ.the role and requirements of the weft-beating mechanism

1. Role

(1) Fix the reed position;

(2) Guide the movement of the sword belt;

(3) Punch the weft wires into the weaving opening;

(4) Adjust the height of the click point.

2. Process requirements

(1) When beating the weft, the reed seat is smooth and does not flutter;

(2) When beating the weft, the angle between the reed and the net is about 90°;

(3) The height of the card weft point should be appropriate

(4) When the reed seat swings forward, the lift should be the same on both sides.
