3. The correct mesh position of the sector gear with the axle gear.

The adjusting screw on the sector gear should be in the horizontal position when the head of the sword is running to the middle position of the reed seat. If it is not in this position, it should be adjusted to this position. There are two ways to adjust to the correct position:

(1) Remove the sector gear, reassemble it, and mesh it with the axle gear to the correct position.

(2) Changing the mounting angle of the swing lever on the saber can also be adjusted to the correct position.

Incorrect mesh position of the sector gear and axle gear often causes the sector gear to break, which also causes the maximum width knitting requirements not to be met. See Figure 3-4.
