Causes And Prevention Of Mesh Deformation In Plain Weaving

1. The reasons for dual lines and prevention.

Two adjacent warp threads passing through the same steel tack hole often result in double warp threads, which is uncommon for weft double threads in weaving. To prevent double threads, it is necessary to monitor the weaving process regularly, especially when repairing broken warp threads to ensure that there are no double threads on the fabric. A 25x magnifying glass can be used to examine the fabric surface for double threads.

2. Reasons for Lane Merging and Prevention.
Two or more adjacent warp threads are on the same heddle, regardless of whether they are threaded through the same eye, resulting in a parallel line in the warp direction on the fabric. Weaving two or more weft threads in the same shed will create a parallel line in the weft direction. Most lines are parallel in the weft direction and are caused by the half-cut warp thread left in the weaving shed after it breaks.

Preventive measures for parallel lines: minimize the number of warp thread breaks and operate with care.

3. The Causes and Prevention of Jumper Cables

During weaving, the warp threads may get tangled with the weft thread ends, flowers, or fuzz, causing a jump stitch by losing the twist. To prevent jump stitches, it is necessary to improve the quality of the weft thread ends.

4. Causes and prevention methods of loose thread generation.
(1) Loose threads are caused by individual warp threads relaxing during weaving. There are several reasons why individual warp threads may become slack, including:
1) Loose warp threads hanging. For example, the sword tape head is not smooth, the comb panel has burrs, the warp yarn residual line is hooked, etc. The connected tail hangs loose next to the adjacent warp thread.
2) Disorderly and unsmooth extra warp threads under the warp beam cause the warp threads to be pulled loose.
3) Steel nail holes holding the thread. For example, the slot hole is too small, and the slat has rust.
4) The warp threads on the crossbar (through the weave) are not smooth, and the warp threads are entangled and loosened by the crossbar.
5) When weaving a high mesh net, the flower fluff fiber wraps around several warp threads.
6) The warp quality is not up to standard, such as loose axis depression, line pressure, tucking, sagging edges, severe unevenness, and poor joints.

(2) Methods to prevent loose threads: Improve the level of mesh weaving operations and overcome the above reasons for loose threads in advance.

5. Causes and prevention of top buttoning.
The reason for button-up is poor button quality. The method to prevent button-up is to ensure that the button quality meets the three requirements of tightness, brightness and straightness.

6. Causes and prevention of warp weaving defects.

(1)Causes of Weft Piling:
1) Improper adjustment of the weft tension device, resulting in loose weft tension. The tension is unstable and varies.
2) The right weft yarn is not working or is not working effectively.
3) The right weft yarn is stretched too tightly, exerting too much force on the weft yarn.
4) The left weft yarn is twisted too early, causing the right weft yarn to not be able to exert enough force. In summary, the main cause of weft piling is that the weft yarns are not straightened.
(2) Methods of Preventing Weft Piling: The diameter of the warp yarn in the right weaving edge organization should be at least 1.4 times the diameter of the weft yarn, otherwise the clamping force of the right weaving edge on the weft yarn will be insufficient. In order to observe whether the weft yarn has been straightened before the reed, the steel box should be moved to a stop position 3 to 5 mm away from the weaving mouth for observation. Continuously observe several times and only restart when the weft yarns are consistently straightened. If the weft yarns are not straightened, the problems should be identified and solved promptly.

7. Causes and Prevention of Nasal Regurgitation

(1)Severe skewing of warp threads or severe slackening of weft threads after insertion into the shed are the main causes of back reed.
(2)Prevention methods for back reed:
1) When driving, first check whether the warp threads are straight inside the shed. If there is any skewing, find out the reason in a timely manner.
2) Eliminate various factors that cause slackening of threads in advance.

8.Causes of wire twisting and methods of prevention.

(1)Causes of Mal-twisting:
During the weaving of a twill weave, if the order of the warp threads is wrongly threaded, a mal-twisting in the warp direction will occur. When there is a break or a missing warp thread, if the order of how the warp threads are woven is mistaken, then a mal-twisting in the weft direction will occur.
(2) Methods for Preventing Mal-twisting:
1) Minimize the occurrence of broken warp threads.
2) Properly handle a break or a missing warp thread.
3) Ensure the electrical device that automates the stoppage of the loom in case of a broken warp or weft is sensitive and reliable.
