Transmission relationship of edge rolling mechanism
The 80-tooth gear at the left end of the web roller drives the 20-tooth edge rolling transmission gear, causing the edge rolling transmission shaft to rotate and also driving the 50-tooth gear to rotate along with the shaft. Through the transmission of the O-ring belt, the rotation of the edge rolling and web taking-up roller is driven, causing the edge of the net to be rolled up onto the roller. Under the pressure of the torsion spring, the 15-tooth gear engages with the 30-tooth gear, and the edge of the fabric is taken up by the 30-tooth and 15-tooth gears.
The relationship between the maximum winding capacity of the selvage and the winding capacity of the woven metal mesh
If the O-shaped belt does not slip, the maximum winding capacity of the selvage is (1.6~2) times that of the metal mesh winding capacity. In other words, each winding length of the selvage winding gear is far greater than one mesh length.
Selection and Adjustment of Edge Rolling Amount in Weaving 
(1) When weaving warp knitted mesh and plain weave mesh, the edge rolling amount is generally selected as 1-1.2 courses at a time, and should not be less than 1 course.
(2) When weaving diagonal dense mesh, edge rolling mechanism must be used to roll the edge, and the rolling amount should be 1.5-2 courses at a time. Otherwise, the edge cannot be woven smoothly. This is because the warp density of diagonal dense mesh is double-layered, and the edge is woven in plain weave, only able to arrange single-layered warp threads. To achieve the dual-layered arrangement, the rolling amount should be increased so that the edge can be aligned with the diagonal dense mesh.
(3) There are two methods for adjusting the edge rolling amount:
1) Adjust the tension of the edge rolling belt to change the rolling amount. When the tension is increased, the rolling amount increases, and vice versa.
2) Adjust the pressure of the 15-tooth gear spring to change the rolling amount. When the pressure on the gear is increased, the mesh is deeper and the rolling amount increases. The pressure should be consistent with the tension of the warp, and not too large or too small. When the tension of the edge is adjusted on the selvage frame, and the pressure on the 15-tooth gear remains unchanged, the rolling amount will decrease.
