5. Installation of the heald frames: The counted healds are evenly distributed in the heald frames. For plain weaving, 2 pages of heald frames are used; for twill weaving, 4 pages of heald frames are used; for satin weaving, 5 pages of heald frames are used.

(1) Installation of the two-page heald frames: 4 tappets are used to connect the left and right heald carrying rods (the two neighboring heald carrying rods are in a group and are subject to the action of a single treadle). The page closest to the weaving mouth is the first heald, which is connected to the second hole of the heald carrying bar, and the second heald is connected to the third hole of the heald carrying bar.

(2) Installation of the 4-page heald frame: 8 tappets are used to connect the left and right heald carrying rods, so that the first and third healds are subjected to the first set of treads, and the second and fourth healds to the second set of treads. The heald closest to the weaving opening is the first heald and is connected to the second hole of the heald carrying bar, the third heald is connected to the fourth hole, and the fourth heald is connected to the fifth hole.
