Causes And Prevention For Weft And Warp Wires Loosening

1. Causes of looseness of warp and weft threads:
(1) If all warp threads have inconsistent hardness, the weft threads woven into the net are softer, and looseness appears in the harder warp and weft intersections. This is because the hard warp threads have a smaller curvature in the net, resulting in a smaller shrinkage rate, making the net looser as it is woven, causing loose intersections where the hard warp and weft intersect.
(2) Insufficient tension on warp and weft threads in the net, making them prone to looseness.
(3) Too late twisting time also results in looseness of warp and weft.
(4) When the steel reed dent is too thin and the dent hole is larger, the woven net is prone to looseness. This is because the reed dent is too thin, and after the yarn is clamped, the weft thread undergoes significant bending deformation, making it easy for the warp and weft threads to not interweave tightly.

(5) Light-duty and ultra-light-duty metal square mesh, due to the small curvature and deformation of the warp and weft threads in the net, the angle between the warp and weft threads is small, resulting in loose intersections.

2. Methods to prevent loosening of warp and weft threads:
(1) Choose a a slightly harder warp thread and increase the tension of the warp threads.
(2) Maintain appropriate tension on the warp threads during the weaving process.

(3) Select steel reed with reasonable sized holes based on the diameter of the metal thread.
