Analysis Of The Phenomenon Of Hooking Off When The Weft Wire Is Fine

Analysis of the phenomenon of hooking off when the weft wire is fine (less than φ0.04mm)

Causes:

1. The rapier spring is too hard, making it impossible for the weft yarn to hook into the sword hook slot.

2. The surface of the sword hook clamping area is not smooth or has grooves.

3. The weft yarn is too hard and elastic.

4. The elastic force of the weft yarn pulling spring on the stop bar is too strong, forcing the tension of the weft yarn to increase. The weft yarn guide on the stop bar is often in an unstable state.

5. The top rod spring in the cutter is too hard, which affects the fine adjustment effect of the cutter's clamping force and makes the clamping force of the weft yarn unstable.

6. When the tension of the weft yarn is equal to or greater than the clamping force of the cutter, it is easy for the weft yarn to come off the hook.

It is very important to handle these relationships correctly to solve the problem of weft yarn being hooked off. When weaving the net, follow the correct relationships:

Tension of the weft yarn = (4~6) times the elastic force of the stop bar

Clamping force of the cutter = (1.5~3) times the tension of the weft yarn = (0.3~0.5) p (tension of the yarn)
